Located within the Mitcham Cricket Ground Conservation Area and in close proximity to statutorily and locally listed buildings, the site was formerly used as a Kwik Fit garage with resultant contamination due to underground petrol tanks. 

Following unconditional purchase in July 2015, a planning application was submitted in August 2015 for site remediation and provision of 22 homes with ground floor commercial unit. Planning granted March 2016.
